This blog post will be the first Featured Quilter entry. I plan to put together a few more features when I have another group of quilts I recognize who made them.
Its fun to see how she takes whatever is in the donation bags and creates fabulous quilts.

These two quilts are made from 2 1/2 inch strips using a pattern called Popsicle. Sue put together an amazing group of patterns and colors to create two beautiful modern baby quilts

This quilt was a bunch of blocks that came in a donation bag full of fabric. (The photo is awful, but its all we have now) She took the blocks and added sashings to make an fun quilt.

These next two quilts started as a bunch of daisy 'cheater' blocks in panel/yardage, again part of a fabric donation. The twin used most of the yardage just pieced together to be big enough, The small quilt used the leftover blocks with a bold piece of fabric for the extra blocks and a bit of white sashing.

The next two quilts were partially assembled in the donated collections. Sue took the blocks and bits of Monet like fabrics to turn some orphan blocks into cute quilts.

I know these quilts look alike but there really are four of them. This was a big hand appliqued sheet of fabric, not any bed size. So Sue cut it up, added borders and created 4 baby quilts.
